La Vie Boheme Fashion Store in Goa

La vie Boheme Goa Beach Shop is the first flagship boutique store of the “La vie Boheme” brand by Vero M. It is a fitting welcome to arguably one of the most popular restaurants in Goa, the chic and trendy Thalassa on Vagator beach. Along with the Vero M. label, the boutique showcases original, elegant, multifaceted collections of chic bohemian women’s wear and jewellery that are comfortable, fashionable and fun.

Vero M was born in France and left for Barcelona and Ibiza after graduation where she first brought to life her creations. She then moved to Dubai followed by Thailand and she started designing pieces of jewelry. She settled few years in Singapore, spending a lot of time in Bali getting more inspired and started her own label after opening her beach shop in Goa, India. Her brand reflects her inspirations, desires, personality and lifestyle. She now divides her time between India and South east Asia and continues to travel the world.

La Vie Boheme is the result of Vero M’s search for all things chic and Bohemian. She envisioned the brand after exploring the world only to realize how tough it is to find the perfect bag that was stylish and functional at the same time. Veronique’s love affair with fashion has now evolved into this diverse collection of trendy, yet practical fashion wear. Aside from creating stunningly designed bags, La Vie Boheme by Vero M also includes mesmerizing pieces of jewelry and comfortable clothing that complement perfectly every item on the collection.

All pieces are put together with the perfect combination of passion and precision, keeping in mind the convenience sought out by versatile individuals who juggle both the city and beach lifestyles. Bags and clothes are light weight, easy to carry pieces. Materials used are hand-picked with love. All the bags consist of 100% leather, and are hand-made. Clothes are made with only the finest fabrics. The jewelry designs are made of silver and partnerships with jewelry from Jaipur that carries amazing collection of antique and precious pieces.

Our logo, the Lotus Flower, symbolizes the sun and creation in ancient Egypt, spiritual awakening and beauty in Buddhism and Hinduism. The Lotus represents the beauty and strength of a woman, which is defined by ‘La vie boheme’. The collections are made for women of every age, wherever they may be. La Vie Boheme is designed for the strong, independent, bold women on the move who are not afraid to make statements and be noticed.

Our last collection ” Enchanted forest ” is inspired by the tropical forests of Asia, instilling the illusion of life such as the lotus, bamboos and tropical birds on our hand- painted bags and shoes and embroidered clothes. When ancient handiworks and contemporary fashion meet, enchantment transcends and “La vie boheme by Vero M.” lives to tell its story.

You are lovers of cupcakes and cake? You are in Goa and you search for a location to enjoy sweets ?  Look no further, I tested the place for you, with an acceptable quality but nothing compared to the real French pastries naturally but we have to admit that some cakes are absolutely delicious. Carasid is a brand in Goa,where they are present in the territory with more than 8 stores, pastries preparation is done in a centralised kitchen  in Pilerne organized .

Thanks to this proper organisation the stores can offer the same quality across the board . I often buy for us……. my daughter loves the cupcakes and a special mention for the cheese cakes which are exceptional a despite the excess of sugar… 😉

Vous êtes amants des petits gâteaux et de la pâtisserie ? Vous vous trouvez a Goa et rechercher un endroit ou savourer des gourmandises ?Ne chercher plus, j’ai teste l’endroit qu’il vous faut, avec un qualité acceptable rien en comparaison des vraies pâtisseries françaises, mais sur certains gâteaux il faut reconnaitre qu’ils sont aussi délicieux.

Carasid est un brand a Goa, ils sont présent sur le territoire avec plus de 8 magasins, et la préparation des pâtisseries se fait dans une cuisine centralisée a Pilerne, organisée donc, et fait de manière a ce que tout les magasins proposent la même qualité. J’achète souvent des ……. que ma fille adore et les cheese cakes sont aussi très bons, malgré le sucre en excès, ils font du bien 😉

Bref, je vous invite a aller tester par vous mêmes les meilleurs pâtisseries de Goa, avec the, et petit déjeuner servi sur place ,aussi !!!

Annual dinner of “La Confrérie de la chaîne des Rôtisseurs” at Le poisson Rouge

Yesterday we had the privilege of attending the annual dinner of “La Confrérie de la chaîne des Rôtisseurs” held at “Le Poisson Rouge“.

The chief Gregory Bazire has outdone itself with a menu that has won thirty people, members of the Confrérie, for the occasion. The wines chosen with great care from Italy, France and South Africa, have revealed and raised the FrancoIndian flavors of the dishes, all prepared with seasonal ingredients, to the delight of our palate .

Yesterday, we were proud to be French and see that the values ​​of our country  are exported worldwide to communicate to many gourmets the pride of ​​France: its gastronomy!

La Confrérie was created in 1950, but its origins go back to 1248, during the reign of King Louis IX (Saint Louis). This is now a truly international gastronomic association dedicated to honoring the preservation of traditions and practices of the old French guild in a context quite contemporary and international.

The main purpose of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is to shine in the world by asserting its presence in over 75 countries with over 25,000 members to:

• Promote a network of talented professionals in the arts of the table and the waiter.

• Promote international trade, particularly through the main chapters, places of real encounter between lovers, a cultural home and friendship.

• Provide assistance to the Association charities and food assistance to people in need.

• Reconciling tradition respecting the values ​​that for centuries formed the basis of his philosophy and innovation by constantly adapting to changes in contemporary society… and Vive la chaîne !

Nous avons eu hier l’immense privilège de participer au dîner annuel de “La Confrérie de la chaine des Rôtisseurs” qui s’est tenu au restaurant “Le Poisson Rouge”.

Le chef Gregory Bazire s’est surpassé avec un menu qui a conquis la trentaine d’hôtes, membres de la Confrérie, présents pour l’occasion. Les vins, choisis avec le plus grand soin en provenance d’Italie, de France et d’Afrique du Sud, ont révélé et relevé les saveurs franco-indiennes des plats, tous préparés avec les produits de saison, pour le plus grand plaisir de nos papilles.

Hier, nous étions fières d’être françaises et de voir que les valeurs  de notre pays s’exportent partout dans le monde pour faire connaitre aux nombreux gourmets ce qui fait la fierté de la France : sa gastronomie !

La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs a été créé en 1950, mais ses origines remontent à 1248, sous le règne du Roi Louis IX, Saint Louis, elle est aujourd’hui une association gastronomique véritablement internationale, consacrée à honorer la préservation des traditions et des pratiques de l’ancienne guilde française dans un contexte tout à fait contemporain et international.

L’objectif principal de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs est de rayonner dans le monde entier en affirmant sa présence dans plus de 75 pays avec plus de 25000 membres :

  • Promouvoir un réseau de professionnels de grand talent dans les domaines des arts de la table et de la sommellerie.
  • Favoriser les échanges internationaux, notamment à la faveur des Grands Chapitres, véritables lieux de rencontre entre les amateurs de gastronomie, d’hospitalité culturelle et d’amitié.
  • Apporter par son Association Caritative aide et assistance alimentaire à ceux qui sont dans le besoin.
  • Concilier Tradition par le respect des valeurs qui au fil des siècles ont constitué le socle de sa Philosophie et Innovation par une adaptation permanente aux évolutions de la société contemporaine… et que vive la Chaîne !
