Paper Boat Collective – H No 248, Bella Vista, Sangolda
Paper Boat Collective was created at the initiative of Pattu and Thomas, who after long worked in advertising, and have decided to come and settle in Goa in 2012. They transformed a house in Pandora’s box exposing and selling what they love.
Potters by passion, they offer their works of decorative objects, we also discover in every room the achievements of their friends, or interior designers or stylists. Chairs made of recycled materials alongside the engravings themselves alongside clothing. Many designers have their neighborhood here and expose exclusives natural and comfortable materials … The clothes are basically “must have” that can easily match with what you already have in your cupboards.
Last night we celebrated the new collection of Saltyulla the Venezuelan designer Carolina Paez. All her friends were there and it is over a drink that ended the evening.
Paper Boat also offers a variety of creative workshops for children. Throughout the month of April, they will learn pottery with Thomas. Classes are held every Saturday from 9:30 to 12:30. For more information call: 832 6521248.

Paper Boat collective a été créé a l’initiative de Pattu et Thomas, qui après avoir travaillés longtemps dans la publicité, ont décidés de venir s’établir à Goa en 2012. Ils ont transformé une maison en boîte de Pandore exposant et vendant ce qu’ils aiment.
Potiers par passion, ils proposent leurs créations d’objets décoratifs, mais on découvre aussi dans chaque pièce des réalisations de leurs amis soit designers d’intérieur soit stylistes. Les fauteuils faits en matériaux de récupération côtoient les gravures qui elles mêmes côtoient les vêtements, plusieurs stylistes ont leur quartier ici et exposent des exclusivités en matériaux naturel et confortable… Les vêtements sont essentiellement des “must have” qui pourront s’assortir facilement avec ce que vous possédez déjà dans vos armoires.
Hier soir, on fêtait la nouvelle collection Saltyulla de la styliste Vénézuèlienne Carolina Paez. Tous ses amis étaient présents et c’est autour d’un verre que s’est achevé la soirée.
Paper Boat propose aussi différents ateliers de création pour les enfants. Durant tout le mois d’avril, ils apprendront la poterie avec Thomas. Les cours se déroulent tous les samedis de 9h30 à 12h30. Pour plus de renseignements téléphonez au : 832 6521248.
Celestial Colors Fashion Show – Samovar Anjuna
The colors were present last night at Anjuna, both in decor and lighting of Samovar and on the scene. Gemma Carver, Gulsen Tozacan, Miriam Strehlau, Brigitte Axel, Vanda Petrovic declined their vision of “bohemian hippie” women. Many friends and “Fashionistas” came to see the new collections of these five talented designers.
Sissi Perlinger and the fire dances of Mir Jam hosts the evening.
Axailes Solar & Djo have made dance the guests at the after party that lasted late into the night.
I personally liked VandaPetrovic’s collection , Eva, meanwhile, preferred models worn by Brigitte Axel’s daughter.

Les couleurs étaient présentes hier soir à Anjuna, tant dans le décor et les éclairages du Samovar que sur la scène. Gemma Carver, Gulsen Tozacan, Miriam Strehlau, Brigitte Axel et Vanda Petrovic nous ont décliné leur vision de la femme “hippie bohème”. Amis et ”fashionistas” étaient venus nombreux pour découvrir les nouvelles collections de ces cinq talentueuses stylistes.
Sissi Perlinger et les danses du feu de Mir Jam ont animé la soirée.
Axailes Solar & Djo ont fait dansé les invités lors de l’after party qui s’est prolongée tard dans la nuit.
J’ai personnellement aimé la collection de Vanda Petrovic, Eva, quant à elle, a préféré les modèles de Brigitte Axel portés par sa fille.
Brigitte Axel’s private party in Anjuna
Yesterday evening, Brigitte Axel organized a private party to pay tribute to Eight Fingers Eddie (08/03/1924 – 18/10/2010). Eight Finger Eddie was an American expatriate, Armenian origin, who came to Goa in 1965 at the age of 40 and has never left Anjuna. At that time the sunny beaches of North Goa became the final destination of the beatniks. Eddie was one of the pioneers of the famous Anjuna flea market in 1975, place where tourists sold or exchanged their property to return to Europe. The open-air bazaar still exists. He also held a soup kitchen for foreign visitors who had lost their way, their money – and sometimes their minds.
Brigitte Axel, also emblematic of the hippy movement, author of “H”, a best seller in the 1970s, that recounts her experiences, had gathered for the occasion old friends Eight Fingers Eddie and many young hippies on holidays in Goa.
The evening was held to the sounds of the drums, singing and dancing in the garden of the property it owns in the heart of Anjuna flea market.
